It is timely as a large segment of millions of baby boomers are getting older. The following advice can be helpful!

  1. Both accept if you are losing memory and know you can improve it.
  2. Organize your life so things are predictable.
  3. Overlearn and repeat over and over things you must do and not forget.
  4. Work on concentration to make sure you do not quickly lose track of what you need to do and remember. Activities like chess, checkers, card games, reading, and crossword puzzles can be helpful.
  5. Try to always be mentally alert.
  6. Constant socialization with people and not becoming insolated, alone or with people who all have memory problems.
  7. Get required sleep to be as alert as possible.
  8. Regular contact with family physician or medical specialist about appropriate vitamins,

medications, and diet.
