Dr. John H. Braccio talks with Dave Akerly of WILS on the “Morning Wake-Up With Dave Akerly” Radio Show, on 4/11/17 on WILS, 1320 a.m.in Lansing, Michigan about the book “MAKE YOUR mersin esc BED”. The author is retired four star Admiral William H. McRaven. He was a long time Navy Seal who oversaw the Ben Laden Raid. He is currently the University of Texas System Chancellor. This book is based on his terrific 2014 graduation address to the 2014 graduates of the University of Texas at Austin. It went viral and millions have seen it on YouTube. The address and book are based on life lessons he learned in his training as a Navy Seal. It is loaded with basic wise maxims to live by. A few include:
- “If you can’t do the little things right, you will never do the big things right”,
- “In that dark moment, reach deep inside yourself and be your best”.
- “With it (courage) you can defy and defeat evil”.
